The National Institutes of Health share that a strong focus on well-being is critical for employee and executive retention. They noted workplace well-being as closely linked to employee health, team member engagement, productivity, improved performance, and a greater likelihood of contributing to their communities.
In addition, data compiled by Indeed notes employee wellness to be a key factor in attracting new talent, along with linking it to improved moral and attendance, and decreased stress levels and health care costs.
With over 15 years of talent development experience and nearly two decades in wellness I’ve observed a gap in how we integrate self-management and team management training for our leaders.
